2010 St. Patty’s Day Parade

Cincinnati MINI is getting out on the town for the 2010 St. Patty’s Day Parade in downtown Cincinnati this Saturday March 13th.

Join us by walking in the parade! Bring the kids out for a day of fun and floats. Details will follow if you are interested - please RSVP to jbellinski@cincinnatimini.com or call Jenna at 513.527.3924 because spaces are limited. We will have two MINIs as well as the Cincinnati MINI Metro bus along with us!

The Openometer

The Openometer (just left of the steering column) keeps track of — wait for it – how much time the vehicle is driven with its top actually down!!! That’s right, go back and read that sentence again. Today is a perfect day to drive with the top down in your MINI Convertible! What fun things will you be out doing with your MINI in this beautiful weather? Let us know, we LOVE to hear from you!!

I first met Emily at the Cincinnati Auto Show - she had already been in and picked out the perfect MINI and she was just hopping around the show to check out the other cars and visit the MINI booth.

She came into the dealership a few days later to pick up her new car and I was so excited about her purchase (a first car is ALWAYS exciting - especially if it is a MINI!) She had a great spirit about her and I know will have LOTS of fun in the new MINI.

Countryman Sized Up!

MINI has released some of the sizes for the newest member of the lineup, the Countryman. It looks like they are trying to keep curb weight around 3000 pounds, which is only a few hundred more than the other models. This will help keep the performance up with the increased size!

As far as size goes though:

R56 Hatch: 145.6″
R55 Clubman: 156″
R60 Countryman: 161″

This car is truly still going to be MINI! That is an increase of a little over a foot compared to the normal hatch, and only a few inches on the Clubman. This should be a very fun car to drive!
