I was inspired by an article I was reading on the web today, Does Your Car Have a Name?
Now with some brands, I wouldn’t think to ask, but with MINI I know almost for a fact, that every single MINI out on the streets today has a name. So what is it?

My car is “El Gato Negro” (the black cat)…
After seeing two black cats come across my white car in the first week of purchase I was scared that it was an omen, my car would have bad luck. I decided that the only way to feel better was to embrace the sitings by christening the car with its new name - El Gato Negro =)

My car is called The Bullet
It’s a dark silver JCW Clubman. Just seems appropriate.

Mine’s named Elphie….which is short for Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West from the book/musical Wicked (read the book, have seen the musical 6 times in 5 different cities). Elphaba is green after all

License plate reads DRK KNT The “Dark Knight”. It seemed appropriate with my last name being Knight and the car color being black. Love the names of “The bullet and “Curv Etr”. My good friend, Robert has his JCW Mini named as “Lil Jon”.

my first MINI was called giles (yes, from buffy). my second MINI was called the MINI turtle. this, my third MINI is called Captain Jack after Captain Jack Harkness from Doctor Who and Torchwood.

Mom’s Mini is affectionately known as Tinkerbelle(a sassy little lady!). My Wrangler is called “the Wobbler”and my Freightliner is known as “Budweiser” as it spent most of it’s life hauling Anheuser goodies.
