I just wanted to let everyone know a few new things going on with MINI Service this year.

First off we are introducing a new pickup procedure for your MINI once it is done in service.  The “express vehicle pickup” option should make getting in and out of here a much quicker task.  We are giving out cards with tag #s and the phone number(513-648-2690) on them when you drop off your MINI for service.  The cards explain the process but basically you call the number and put the tag number in and it will page our cashiers your tag number.  They then will bring the car down and have it parked outside before you arrive.  You will see these signs for the express pickup.

Next we have a small change for our service drive and where we want to have cars pulled into.  In the past we stated either the service drive or the courtyard outside our doors would work.  The dealership and especially MINI is getting so busy that the courtyard option is no longer working well.  It is bottling up the washbay, service drive, MINI sales, and pre-owned sales.  We now are looking to have everyone pull up the service drive at all times.  (more…)

We know everyone was excited to see the first of our MINIs with Motoring Graphics arrive. As awesome as the MINI was, it didn’t last a day on the showroom floor!!

Yesterday morning, Cincinnati MINI took the first of their decorated MINIs down to the showroom to be part a fun little video we are working on (stay tuned to the blog for a peak!) and that’s when Amy came in…

Amy, a fun spirited MINI customer, was coming into the Store to test drive MINIs. What was parked in front of her when she arrived, was a car that seemed to be waiting for her. Check out the photos of the MINI below - you tell us if it wasn’t meant to be! (more…)

Graphics

I received a catalog the other day on how to “customize” a MINI. I was so excited to dig into all of the neat graphics that Motoring Graphics had to offer. I helped the MINI team pick out new graphics for a few of our MINIs. I can’t wait for them to come in - putting these small unique touches on each of the MINIs are going to make them even more individualized and special for their owner. (more…)

MINI does a great job of catching the public’s eyes with their ads.  Check out some of my favorites, still trying to figure out how we can make something like this work here at Cincinnati MINI.

     At first glance, nobody in the 1960’s would’ve predicted that a Morris Cooper S would’ve ever turned into a police car.  Especially not in the U.S., where large cars like Ford or Dodge were usually used for their V8 capacity and their intimidating looks.

So the MINI wings.  Where did it come from?  Well, the current MINI logo is a depiction of chrome wheels with stylized wings and the notorious capitalized MINI with their signature font!  The trademark is the 21st interpretation of the original logo from the 90’s.  (more…)
